Chapter Ten: Growing Up, Making Amends, and Expanding the Family

When we last left off, Gweny was rushing to the hospital in labor. I was praying for an heiress, but then she emerged holding... this. Wesley Hadley.
I don't mean to be mean, Wesley, but you're not female.

Finally, I decided to let Gwen and Max get married. He brought in enough money to fix up the house a little, just what we needed.

Here's the house now, for those of you who are into that. There kitchen has been extended, I added a dining room, and there's a new room off the nursery for Sasha when he grows up. All the updates are leaving the family with only $100 day to day, and even less when they have to pay the bills. But now they're living indoors, so there's that.

Anyway, I gave Max a little make-over, then sent him over to his old house, where Hina is now living with Nicky to apologize to her for stealing Gwen away. She's still a little angry, but at least they're not fighting so much any more. Max was hoping, actually, to start a relationship with her. His lifetime want is to have 10 girlfriends! AAAH!

Gwen got pregnant again on their wedding day, and hopefully it'll be a girl this time!

And then Max had to go and age into an elder! Ah! Please, Gweny, have a girl!

It's not just birthday time for Max, either. Wesley is a toddler now!

And Sasha's a child. I think he's really cute, too bad he's a he!

Gwen went into labor suddenly, while trying to paint a portrait of herself to hang in the house. Let's hope it's a girl! Find out next time, on the Hadley Legacy!

Chapter Nine: Oh Boy

When we last left off, Max and Hina were fighting over Gwendolyn. The winner of this fight, wins her heart (and the right to live on the legacy lot, in extreme poverty, for the rest of their life). Who will it be?

"Now get out!"

"Oh Max, I knew you'd win. Let's stand here and talk about trees while Hina gets her stupid, illegitimate kid and goes."

Later that night...
"Uh-oh."

"Max, I have a surprise for you."
"Is it cake? 'Cause it looks like you've been eating lots of cake!"
"I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that."

Spurned on by her new pregnancy, Gwen decided to get engaged to Max right away. After all, this kid was going to need its father around to help.

In the middle of the night, while talking with Max, Gwen went into labor! She rushed herself to the hospital, and then got a message from Max: "Sorry, I have to go now."
Where was he going? The hospital, to be with the mother of his baby.

It's a boy! Meet Sasha, who is unfortunately not female and therefore not eligible to be the heiress.

I'm including this picture to show you two things. One, Gwen's a cop, and two, she has an indoor kitchen now. The house is growing slowly. They've only got enough money for a kitchen and bathroom inside, but slowly, slowly, a house is being built.

Another picture with a duel purpose. It's Sasha's birthday, and his mommy's pregnant again. Time is short, and while she can't afford another kid, she also doesn't have any time to wait around and make money.

It's Sasha as a toddler. Both his parents are blond, so no surprises here. He got Max's slightly darker blond hair.

Gwen rushed to the hospital not long after Sasha's birthday to give birth. Will it be a boy again? Or a potential heiress?

Chapter Eight: Illegitimate

The generation four heiress is Gwendolyn. It was between Gwenny and Holly in my mind, and Gwen's a young adult now, so my choice has been made.

Since the Hadley family has been living on the Goth lot for a long time, and they have so much money, Gwen moved out in the middle of the night to the legacy-legal lot. I know, I know, you're not supposed to move, but we've already broken that rule once and honestly, even though I'm scoring it I'm not really playing for points as much as fun. And lawn living is way more fun than living in the lap of luxury. So Gwenny, here's your home.
"You mean I don't get the mansion?"
Nope!
"I don't get millions of dollars?"
No, in fact, you only have $40!
"Can I trade?"
No.

Gweny also had a ghost boyfriend, which I thought would be interesting. But waiting up every night for him to show was wasting time. She was getting older fast, and struggling at work from her many sleepless nights.

So, time for the next best thing. Meet Hina Matsumoto, daughter of exchange sim... Hina Matsumoto. Okay then. She's good friends with Gwen. Really good friends. And since I downloaded a same sex pregnancy hack, I was sure that it would be a great match.

We moved really quickly, because time was not on our side. I had no idea how old Hina was, and Gwen was rapidly approaching adult hood.

Plus she's gorgeous.

We had a great wedding party at the beach. It was amazing. I took thousands of pictures.

But that night, when they got together on their lawn-bed, they couldn't try for a baby.

But then Hina got pregnant, so a potential heiress is on the way.

Or not. Hina had a little boy, Nick Hadley. And Nick is not Gwendolyn's son! He doesn't have a father, but his mother was pregnant when she moved in, apparently.

So Gwendolyn headed over to the house next door. Max Alto answered the door, and it was love at first sight... sort of. Max is evil, and Gwendolyn is good.

But it didn't matter. Suspecting Hina of being unfaithful (after all, she produced a son that's not hers!) Gweny didn't take much convincing to latch onto this new guy.

Unfortunately, Hina arrived home early from the spa and caught them in the act.

"Fine, we'll fight for her! Whoever wins the fight, wins Gwen."

Who wins Gwendolyn? Find out on the next chapter!

Chapter Seven: Happy Birthday

Welcome back to the Hadley Legacy! In case you're confused after our last chapter, let's sum up. Jordan and Kevin had four kids: Hayden, a child, Gwendolyn, a toddler, and Molly and Holly, twin infants.

Scratch that, Molly and Holly are toddlers, and I definitely can't tell them apart. I can tell you that Molly grew up with green hair! I dyed both their hair to make it a little more natural, since they both had odd hair colors.

And now Gweny's a child. She's got her mother's blond hair, which I love.

Birthday time again. Very boring. I'm starting to feel like this legacy is nothing but a string of birthdays for all the kids. Jordan became an adult, Hayden became a teen, and the twins are kids now. Everyone wants another family member, but the house is full. If anyone knows a hack that lets you have even more sims on a lot, uh, I need it. I had one for TS2 and it saved my legacy life!

So anyway, Gwendolyn's a teen.

And then, just when I thought the house couldn't get more hectic, Mortimer died! Everyone was heartbroken, but then Jordan and Kevin both rolled a want for another kid. And what could I do, I obliged. Even though the other kids are so much older, I originally planned for ten kids this generation anyway.

Meanwhile, the twins are teens. Holly's the one in the blue, Molly's in green.

Whenever she has a chance, Gwen's down at the cemetery, talking to the ghosts. It's a little creepy, and the police keep bringing her home after curfew.

Jordan gave birth to a little boy named Joshua. He's not eligible to be heir, which is fine, since I've already decided it should be one of the older girls, to keep the legacy moving.

Both the boys grew up at the same time. Joshua into a toddler, and Hayden into a young adult. Hayden got a job in the science career, then moved out on his own. With new space in the house Jordan and Kevin started in on fulfilling their newest want - another baby! But even if it's a girl, I've chosen my heiress. Who will it be?

Find out next time, on The Hadley Legacy!
