Chapter Twenty-Two: The Birth Of Generation Seven

Hello, and welcome back to the Hadley Legacy. When we last left off, the girls became young adults and moved out, except for Katyrzena.

Ew, Santiago, what is with that face?

Anyway, while the birthday party continues on, Katyrzena and Santiago are engaged to be married. They reserved the beach for their wedding the next day.

On the day of the wedding, Roxy made a not so veiled threat that she would be the heiress, and Kat would be eliminated before she could have her first child. But Katyrzena paid her no mind.

She and Santiago were married in a truly gorgeous wedding at noon.

It would have been even better if Santiago's formal wear looked a little better.

Anyway, the happy couple rushed right home and gave Santiago a make-over. His favorite color is orange and he wants to be a doctor. Turns out he used to be a paper boy!

The happy couple wasted no time *ahem* consummating their marriage.

Chelle is working on fishing, since she needs it for her job. The Hadleys now have a pond right on their front lawn just for this purpose.

Roxy's making all the meals in the house, as she works on her cooking challenges...

...because Gweny's tying up the easel painting the new portraits. Okay, so Katyrzena's came out a little better than Santiago's, but still, they're done!

The happy couple is very happy, and very excited for the birth of their new baby.

When Kat's not exercising, she's playing chess with her husband. He needs logic for his job, and she's well on the way to maxing it, so it seemed like an easy match-up. Gwendolyn's still trying to get her next chess opponent, Martha Hernandez, who it turns out is the daughter of Christian Hadley. Martha is Gwen's cousin!

After one game of chess, Katyrzena goes into labor!

After a quick trip to the hospital, Kat comes home with a baby girl! Her name's Alexis Hadley, and she's excitable and neurotic.

This is where I'll leave you. Tune in next time for MOAR BABIES.

Chapter Twenty-One: As We Age

Hello, and welcome back to the Hadley Legacy. When we last left off, Katyrzena shaved her head and ran off into the mountains. Gabija chased her and brought her home, only to collapse on the front lawn.

Lucky for Gabija, Gwendolyn found her outside before too long. Katyrzena told their grandmother everything, and then went to bed, exhausted herself.

Ichelle and Roxanne ran into each other in the hall, and the confrontation began.

"Don't you dare hurt my daughter."
"You think you can stop me? My daughter will be heiress, Chelle, and that's that."

Meanwhile, Katyrzena talked Wendy into helping them out.
"She'll kill you too, you know. To get Gabi to be heiress."

And then all that was left to do was call Santiago in on it.
"So, will you help us?"
"Do you even have to ask?"

So Katyrzena made the call.
"Hello? ...yes, growing up early...yes...Grandma thought it was the safest thing..."

Inside the garage, Roxy heard everything. She ran to the kitchen to find a birthday cake waiting! She pulled out some poison, and...

Gweny caught her! She pulled her aside, and let her have it.
"I've put up with your antics for way too long. If you don't stop and listen to my decision, you can move out of the house right now!"

Back in the kitchen, Santiago stepped up to the cake.

"Santiago, but that's not Katyrzena!"

After the party, Katyrzena thanked Santiago for helping in their plan.

And Santiago thanked her for being his girlfriend and promising to marry him into the family.

Pretty soon, it was time for Wendy and Jayla to grow up. Remember Jayla?

Wendy became a confident young adult, and decided she wanted to be a hit movie composer.

And Jayla grew up to join the army!

And Wendy had a plan.
"Hello sperm donor!"
If she got pregnant and was able to hide it while still living in the house, her child could possibly be the heir.

Unfortunately for her, Gwendolyn caught her sneaking in in her night gown.

"You think you can mess with me kid? I'm the matriarch, and what I say goes. And I say don't let the door hit you on the way out."

And that night, they had a huge party, for Kat, Gabi, and Santiago.

Synchronized screaming! Kat's cake caught on fire! Thankfully, a guest, Debra Hadley, extinguished the fire. And then they were fined $500 for calling a false alarm to the fire department!

So Kat bought another cake, and grew up fine. And yes, every single one of these guests is related to the Hadleys in some way. There are more of them in the hall and outside!

Anyway, Gabi grew up fine. She decided she wanted to be a chess grandmaster. Doesn't she look just like a young Gwen?

And Katyrzena became a lovely young adult too! She wants to be a forensic specialist, and she totally reminds me of Abby Sciuto from NCIS.

Anyway, this is where I have to leave you. See you next time, when we finally start Generation Seven!
