Chapter Twelve: A Stranger

Welcome back to the Hadley Legacy. Last time, a stranger was knocking on the door of one Destiny Hadley, cousin to Gwendolyn Hadley.

"Destiny Hadley, open up!"

"Max Hadley, what a surprise."
"I'd like to ask you a few questions."
"Of course, of course. What about?"
"Gwen."

Max needs to write articles for his job now, and he's been going around asking a lot of questions.

Of course, Gweny needs to write reports, so she's been doing interviews too.

"What can you tell me about Max?"

"What can you tell me about Gwen?"

"Oh, I see, Gweny already interviewed you. Well then. What did you tell her?"

Anyway, when she's not asking around town about her husband, she's ripping off famous paintings. Way to go, Gweny! I thought you were a cop.

Aaaaaand it's birthday time once again in the Hadley home.

Roxanne became a beautiful little child.

And Wesley's an awkward looking teen that makes me wish this wasn't a Matriarchy. That's it, next legacy I'm doing any of the kids can become heirs!

Not too much later, Ichelle becomes a child and I am now faced by the fact that I'm going to have to choose between Chelly and Roxy.

"Face it, Chelle, one of us is going to be the heiress and live in the mansion with all the money and diamonds, and that's going to be me!"
"Well Mom's good, and I'm good, so I'm clearly going to get picked!"
"Well Dad's evil, and I'm evil, so I'm clearly going to get picked!"

"Good!"

"Evil!"

Birthday!
"Yay, Roxy, I'm so 'happy' for you."
"Shut it, twerp."

Roxanne grows up with an awesome hair-cut (mine!) and gets herself some tattoos too.

"Hah! Now that I'm older, you have to do everything I say!"
"Do not!"

I would just like to say, that this is the first generation not to have multiples. There were Ryan and Riley, Jordan, Joanna, and Juliet, and Holly and Molly, but for the first time ever, since our founder, no twins.

"Mom's gonna kill you when she sees your tattoos!"

And it's kind of nice.

"What do you mean grounded? You can't do this to me!"
"I can and I will, young lady, now go to your room!"

"What seems to be the problem here?"
"Max, your daughter got tattoos without our permission!"
"So? I would've gotten one too if someone had bothered to download the male versions."
Sorry.

"Err, I'm just going to leave now..."
"Look, Max, I am in the right here! Teenagers shouldn't be getting tattoos! Ask anyone!"
"Fine, I will!"

"Fine."
"Fine!"
"Fine!"
